 Things I fixed in my version.

I am listing the things I fixed in my version so that they wont stay the same in the expanded version.

1. The bank:

  • With any flying unit that has an inventory, you could rob the bank blind without even going through security.
    (fixed by removing inventory from RC Helicopter)
  • Buy a ton of luggage, break into the bank, kill viper, fill luggage up with ALL the money in the bank, put luggage in main room, have your hero get killed then respawn. Effectively you will have luggage full of $ of the whole bank and the police wont be after you.
    (fixed by killing luggage after you die, alternately could make the police recognize it in the luggage too.)


2. Roleplay stuff

  • Your body would rot after laying down
    (fixed by setting animation to 0% after laying down)
  • Days too short for RPing
    (fixed by doubling days and rebalancing time-oriented jobs)

3. Jobs

  • Drug job you could load drugs into your car and make mass-shipments, also you could use the subway to avoid cops and speed up the rout.
    (fixed by preventing drugs from being loaded into cars and from units with drugs in inv from entering subway)
  • Bonus checks randomly given en masse.
    (No idea. I have checked it over so many times.)
  • Money becomes useless later
    (fixed by doubling house and gun prices, and quadrupling car prices)
  • Anyone dying would cause someone with the runner job to instantly -quit
    (fixed by reassigning some of the dying triggers)

Hmm, this makes me realize that "Expanded" is probably a misnomer, since we'll essentially be starting from scratch with the code and such. Still, little mistakes like these are good to remember. Smile

yes, and I have 2 great beta-testers lol.

Spawn & candycornxdemon

both of them find the weirdest bugs/glitches in no time at all.
(such as aszura the maid blowing up if you keep clicking on her)

Oh and Nightshade123, hes a little... rude and lacks civility, but hes handy for developing unique systems for games (like item-stacking which was added a few versions back, basically it will stack items up to 4 chargeable items, if you want to take an item out of the stack, just right click twice on the item.)
