Even while MoronSonOfBoron and I were making RLFM, there were a couple Real life maps that came out that we were impressed with. I particularly remember Real life Victim. That was an entirely original one with a whole ton of interesting content. I actually still envy the ease of using their subway system. They used waypoints, so your characters would automatically path to a waygate and instantaneously just use the subway.
Of course, I don't want a subway system that players don't intentionally use. I want them to actually choose to use the subway stations. But it'd be nice if it wasn't as clunky as my current RLFM subway system.
Maybe using the subway should automatically transport the character onto a seperate "train"? That way their character goes somewhere immediately, they get the RP opportunity in the subway train car, they might be in the train car with other players, and they only choose their location when they "disembark' the train car.
But anyways, that's one thing I envy about another map.
I also really liked the second mountain snowtown in some of the later Real life for Moron maps that were modded off of the original one. I can't remember the name of that one though.
