The Damn Farm

OK guys, thanks for bearing with me all this time.

I am losing the farm (pun intended). Anyone got any ideas as to what to add in its place? Be creative!

Graveyard! We need zombies in this game!

there ARE zombies actually. Did you know that you can start a zombie apocalypse? Its another secret in the game.

But a graveyard... I think that can be arranged, what does everyone else think?

I will be a country house! a nice getaway from the city.

I finally did the zombie apocolypse.. I don't remember how though. But the paper worked very well! Damn fly honey is too hard to find though >.>

i am actually on the verge of releasing a MASSIVE update.

Disregard this entire thread. My gf got pissed at me for giving up and made me fix the farm. For real this time and not go cheap.

you are welcome to test the map while I work.

Post up any and all bugs/glitches/misspellings, etc. I have yet to terrain a lot of it so it won't look like a massive update.

In the beta, the neither of the farms work. The casino coin has a giant cooldown, and when you got out of the garbage truck using the unload ability, the camera is extremely lower then normal. Oh, and the middleman doesn't say anything at all. And when are the same sex marriages and the gay bar coming?


Edit: The odds of winning in the casino are very big. Perhaps you could tone 'em down a bit? I won a good 6250 with 12 coins.

ah yes, forgot to mention that in this version debugging mode is on (certain commands do things, casino has a very high chance to win, a few other things here and there. Bosses spawn faster etc.) Camera... gonna look into that... When you say "neither farms work" what does that mean?

For the farm, the milk and egg machine don't upgrade. It gives me the same choice($100 for 30 eggs) each time.

And the gay bar I can understand. Same-sex marriages I don't. Why not? Is it because of your religion? Are you some hardcore homophobic or extremist? I know you say it's not up for debate. But I would like to know why.

I am extremely against same sex marriages and could go on and on about it.

However, to save you the earache, I will break it down to this: I will not advocate, debate, tolerate, nor have ANYTHING to do with it. I understand some fans may be disappointed by this, but I don't find making light of such a tragic mental disorder appropriate.

You are very ignorant if you think people shouldn't have the right to what they want with their sex lives. How about you have a place to register for a partnership at the lawyer's office by the casino? It's not marriage and isn't bound by religion.

What did you find when testing it? Could you release another beta soon to test the new additions?

i found exactly what you were saying, wouldnt upgrade. im going to check that out right now. Other than that, the farms actually work! Soon I should be able to make the Large Farm have double the animal capacity!

Could you possibly put out another beta? Or maybe we could do some kind of partner checking on B.Net? I'm available in about 1 hour if you wanna do something like that. Also, some dialogue when talking to people in the game (Apple Kid) is cut off and there are some cars without icons going around the streets ( near pawn shop, church, book store)

yeah, the icon thing was expected due to some model removal that im doing. (gettin rid of those space ships TRabbit introduced)

You should release another beta or the real thing soon... And why do you do with electrum and those other metals?

You've gotta make the egg making machine etc easier to use, I mean I still don't even know how to use it! You've gotta make the farm(s) a little more remote and isolated, more green perhaps, because it looks more like a junkyard rather than a farm. OMG that gave me a new idea how bout adding a junkyard into the game to deposit all the junk from the truck, as well as add some interesting and funny characters into it. Well any way, perhaps make it bigger with more content in it, making it a must have! The 2nd farm to the South is next to the fishing pond and I feel that the fishing pond is also a little too abstract and maybe you should move it to the harbour rather than in the middle of nowhere and have more characters around the pond! Probably make it more eventful and give it a event to go with it (make it funny!)

I actually... love the idea for a junkyard... *jots down note for his SC2 map*
